Coaching for women in ministry & leadership
As women we have so much to contribute in the fields of ministry and in Christian organisations —and, our work contributes to the richness and variety of approaches and giftings within these contexts. However it’s no secret that the challenges we face are different and more nuanced than our male colleagues. As women leaders we experience general struggles of leadership but may also face female-specific issues.
If you are a woman in ministry or leadership within a church or Christian organisation, my coaching will help you to:
- Be strong, walking in your unique destiny
- Experience accelerated growth
- Live with hope and life, laying down constraining mindsets
In my coaching I have helped many female leaders deal with such issues as:
- comparison to more traditional leadership styles
- negative self-talk or self-limiting beliefs
- a perpetual need to prove ourselves
- a lack of satisfaction with our work.
Having over ten years of experience within church leadership, my heart and passion is to see women in leadership and ministry equipped, empowered and free to be themselves.
During the process of coaching, I always work to the agenda that you bring to the sessions. Some areas I have coached women on are:
Women in sole leadership of churches and ministries
My coaching has given women in sole leadership:
- A safe and confidential space to powerfully hear your own thoughts and process the complexities of your role and decisions.
- A place to sense God and His direction.
- A way of moving towards life-giving mindsets in line with His destiny for you.
- Accelerated growth in the areas you want to see change.
Women in leadership teams within churches & ministries
I have coached many women in leadership teams with a variety of issues and my coaching offers:
- A safe space to process your role and strengths within the team and how you work with others.
- How to lead up, sideways and down.
- How to hear God’s calling on your life and how to pursue this in the season you are in.
- How to lead within a team in a way that honours your voice and that of others.
- A way of finding satisfaction with your contribution to your team.
Women wanting to develop into leadership
Our journeys into leadership may be long or short and I have coached many women during their time of preparation with leadership, dealing with such issues as:
- A way of living in your current role with an eye on your future.
- A process to find God’s calling and direction for your life.
- A freedom from frustration and a satisfaction with living well with what is in your hand.
- A way of finding your destiny and moving towards it in the season of life you are in.
- A way to develop with or without role models.
